Ask anyone what makes for great service and they will usually mention knowledge, genuineness and a human touch. Clients like it when they get what they need promptly and without the run-around. Everyone has experienced the appreciation of a phone call returned in a timely manner. Imagine what the level of appreciation would be if you could help answer the majority of the questions you receive - while they were still on the phone.
As more and more work is pushed to the website in exchange for efficiency, it tends to leave clients feeling a little overwhelmed and possibly unable to see the value of the activity, regardless of how efficient or who requires it.
Risk management is an area where knowledge is crucial. Risk management in the agricultural industry is an area where being genuine builds long-lasting relationships and the human touch can make all the difference in the world. Knowledge means understanding your resources so thoroughly that you are able to help any client when they need it.
Asmark University is designed to provide a wider knowledge that is more in-depth - it’s the best way of ensuring your staff will be able to help each facility with unique, personalized service.
Asmark University is an interactive course. Asmark University is provided at the Ford B. West Center for Responsible Agriculture, a retired agrichemical facility specifically designed and retrofitted for training purposes. Covering three acres, the facility is one huge “prop” that appears to be an active working farm center with dry and liquid fertilizer, anhydrous ammonia, package and bulk crop protection chemicals, seed and other typical retail activities. Each participant will have a computer. There may be group exercises on the lot to reinforce the learning process and help to familiarize the participants with the practical application of what is being taught.
Literally every employee of the Asmark Institute is involved in the presentation of this special course. Using the New Hire Kits as an example, participants will see the information for a new hire entered into the website and follow it through the complete process until finished - led by the staff responsible for each step of the way. Our “professors” will alternate between the website and any of the more than fifty databases we operate to provide a good understanding of each process.
Once confirmed, participants will be sent more information including a location map, potential lodging options, lunch arrangements, etc. Each participant will receive a confirmation packet with all the information needed to prepare for this course.
The Asmark University course is provided free of charge as a service to our partners. This includes the 3 days of interactive training with lunch each day, course manual, handouts and a certificate of completion. Inspire members will receive a special gift for participating in this meeting.
Please use this calendar to enroll in the course. Classes will be limited to 24 participants and reservations will be on a first-come first-serve basis. The Asmark Institute reserves the right to cancel any course due to insufficient enrollment. If you must cancel for any reason, we ask that you do so at least 14 days in advance of the course date so your seat will be available to another person.
