mySPCC Suite of Guidance Materials

This exciting new suite of web-based tools is the second generation of guidance developed exclusively to assist agricultural retailers with implementing their Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) Plan. mySPCC was named for its unique ability to personalize the SPCC Plan to a specific facility and provide a great starting point in the facility's SPCC compliance effort.
mySPCC incorporates the base of original information in the federal rule with the accumulated knowledge gained by industry over the past twenty years and experiences with the different Regions of the Environmental Protection Agency.
The Fertilizer InstituteThe mySPCC Suite of Guidance Materials is sponsored by The Fertilizer Institute and was developed cooperatively with the Asmark Institute. This innovative new approach to industry-specific guidance is supported by U.S. EPA. This suite of compliance assistance tools has been specifically developed to provide retailers with industry-standard information to assist in the preparation of the Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) Plan for their facility.
Please note that additional information may be required to supplement the information provided based upon the specific circumstances found at each facility. Management or supervisors who are in direct contact with, and responsible for, a group of employees are essential to effective implementation of the provisions of the Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) Rule.
