Fall ResponsibleAg Auditor Training Course Announced
Don’t miss your chance to become a credentialed auditor for the ResponsibleAg program! This course is offered only a couple of times a year, and seats go quickly.
Held in Owensboro, KY, at the Asmark Institute Ford B. West Training Center, the four-day course will be offered September 17 - 20, 2024. The West Training Center is a retired retail ag facility specifically designed and retrofitted for training purposes. Covering three acres, the facility appears to be an active working farm center, complete with dry and liquid fertilizer, anhydrous ammonia, package and bulk crop protection chemicals, seed, and more. The property is one large prop that allows folks to learn auditing skills in an environment typical of a retail farm center.
The ResponsibleAg Auditor Training Course has received recognition from the Board of Environmental, Health and Safety Auditor Certifications (BEAC). The course is designed specifically for auditors who intend to perform facility assessments under the ResponsibleAg Certification Program. BEAC’s recognition of the course is based on a comprehensive evaluation of course content, training materials, course environment and instructor qualifications. The ResponsibleAg Auditor Training Course joins other training programs recognized by BEAC such as the American Chemistry Council’s Responsible Care®, SOCMA’s ChemStewards and The Auditing Roundtable courses.
