If your company transports—or offers for transport—hazardous materials that require placarding, you must be registered with the DOT. For those that register annually, the current registration expires June 30, 2025. 

The upcoming 2025–2026 registration year runs from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026. If your company opted for a multi-year registration, now’s a good time to double-check your expiration date. 

Registration Fees: 

• Small businesses & nonprofits: $250/year + $25 processing fee 
• All others: $2,575/year + $25 processing fee 

Keep in Mind: 

• A current copy of the registration must be carried in each vehicle transporting hazardous materials. 
• Past copies must be kept on file at your office for three years. 
• You can register and pay online at the DOT’s website. 

Don't wait until the last minute - make sure you're covered before July 1!
