The Grain and Feed Association of Illinois and the Asmark Institute have partnered to provide high-quality, hands-on training to personnel within the agricultural industry who handle grain. Actual equipment and real-life scenarios are used to facilitate a memorable learning experience. The course includes classroom instruction and lots of hands-on training, demonstrations and exercises. Equipment used in this course includes legs, bearing monitors, sweep augers, storage bins, hopper bottom bins, conveyors, ropes, harnesses and other rescue equipment.

ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR
John Lee has served as the Director of Safety-Health-Environmental Services for the Grain and Feed Association (GFAI) of Illinois since 1997. John works with thousands of facilities conducting safety training, developing safety programs, performing safety audits and visible emission testing. GFAI joined forces with OSHA through their Partnership-Alliance Program to leverage resources and help ensure safe and healthy workplaces in the grain industry.
