The Agricultural Retailers Association (ARA) recognized three outstanding leaders during its 2024 Conference & Expo, celebrating their contributions to advocacy, innovation, and service in the ag retail industry.
Joey Caldwell, senior vice president of retail at GreenPoint Ag, received the Excellence in Advocacy Award for his tireless efforts to champion ag retailers’ needs. Caldwell’s leadership on ARA’s Public Policy Committee, advocacy before Congress, and grassroots efforts, including mobilizing his GreenPoint Ag team, highlighted his dedication to shaping policy and supporting the farm economy.
Ernie Chappell, founder of EFC Systems and pioneer in ag technology, was honored with the Jack Eberspacher Lifetime Achievement Award. Chappell’s 30-year legacy of innovation and leadership in digitizing ag retail, combined with his service on the ARA board, underscores his profound impact on the industry.
Rod Wells, senior vice president of GROWMARK, was presented with the Distinguished Service Award.
