Overview

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be provided, used and maintained wherever it is necessary by reason of hazards of process, environment or chemical hazards. Employers are required to provide at a minimum, goggles, gloves, boots, slicker and/or pants and jacket impervious to ammonia. They must be accessible and in serviceable condition.
