Asmark Institute Promotes Chris Luttrell to Director of Client Success & Enablement

OWENSBORO, Ky. — Asmark Institute announced that Chris Luttrell has been promoted to Director of Client Success & Enablement. He will report directly to EVP & COO Janet Salem.

The newly created leadership position brings together Asmark’s client support, training, and regulatory teams into a single, unified function. The organizational alignment reflects Asmark’s continued investment in helping agricultural retailers navigate complex OSHA, EPA, and DOT compliance requirements while delivering a more seamless client experience. It further reinforces Asmark’s commitment to helping client organizations create safer workplaces by equipping team members with the knowledge, training, and support needed to operate safely every day while fostering a strong, lasting culture of safety.

“As Asmark continues to grow and expand its reach across the agricultural retail industry, we want our regulatory expertise and our client-facing support working even more closely together,” said Brian Mason, President & CEO of Asmark Institute. “This new role strengthens the connection between the guidance we provide, the training we deliver, and the day-to-day support our clients rely on. It also creates a stronger foundation for the future while continuing to deliver the clarity, consistency, and trusted partnership our clients have come to expect.”

Luttrell joined Asmark as a Regulatory Specialist, where he quickly became known for his proactive approach to helping agricultural retailers address complex compliance challenges. In addition to his regulatory expertise, he has built strong relationships with clients through business development, earning a reputation for practical problem solving, responsive service, and a deep understanding of the operational realities facing ag retailers.

Before joining Asmark, Luttrell spent 23 years with the Owensboro Fire Department, retiring as a Battalion Chief. In that role, he led approximately 30 personnel across five fire stations while also serving as Special Operations Chief, overseeing the department’s confined space rescue, high-angle rope rescue, trench rescue, swift water rescue, hazardous materials, and technical rescue teams. An Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) throughout his fire service career, Luttrell also served as a fire instructor for the Kentucky Fire Commission, where he specialized in training industrial fire brigades across the state.

In his new role, Luttrell will lead the teams responsible for regulatory guidance, client support, and industry training, ensuring they work together to provide a unified client experience from onboarding through ongoing compliance management.

The promotion supports Asmark’s long-term strategic vision as the organization continues to expand its impact throughout the agricultural retail industry. By aligning technical expertise with client enablement, Asmark is further strengthening its ability to help retailers stay compliant, reduce risk, improve operational readiness, and focus on serving growers.
